Mountain Bike
Wheels in the dirt, head in the clouds
The Vicenza area offers radically different environments, all suited to mountain biking with their own characteristics and difficulties. The Berici Hills lend themselves to fun sessions on the ridges, with dirt roads through hornbeam and oak forests, moderate gradients, and continuous views of the plain.
The Piccole Dolomiti and the Pasubio massif represent the most technical and challenging side. Rocky trails, dense forests, and significant elevation changes satisfy the most experienced riders. The Campogrosso area and Pian delle Fugazze offer memorable routes in a visually stunning Alpine landscape.
On the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, former military mule tracks from the First World War form a network of over 260 kilometers on surfaces ranging from well-maintained dirt roads to technical trails with exposed sections. Downhill trails allow for fast descents among the larch trees, with lifts available in the summer for those who want to focus on the fun of the descent.
