Hiking/Excursionism

Palladian villas among the Berici vineyards, flower-filled pastures on the plateau, and villages in the foothills among the cherry trees: walking in the Vicenza area is always a pleasant and accessible discovery.

Un passo dopo l’altro, tra verde e silenzio

The province of Vicenza is a region where walking is truly accessible to everyone, with profoundly different environments and atmospheres depending on the area.

The Berici Hills offer walks on dirt roads and trails through hornbeam forests and vineyards, with sudden glimpses of panoramas that range from the plains to the Prealps. Lake Fimon and the Riviera Berica are classic destinations for family excursions, with the possibility of encountering Palladian villas along the way.

The Pedemontana between Breganze and Marostica is traveled on quiet dirt roads among cherry trees, olive trees, and dovecotes, in a well-kept rural landscape rich in history. On the Altopiano dei Sette Comuni, the trails through mountain huts and flower-filled pastures are suitable for small children in summer, with frequent stops to sample fresh cheeses and freshly made ricotta.

In winter, with snowshoes on, the same trails transform into something silent and magical.
