The vineyard trails: wineries and cycle routes

A journey through wineries open for tastings and the main cycling routes

The province of Vicenza is home to numerous wineries, many offering guided tastings and themed visits through local vineyards.

Geographically, the richest area for wineries is undoubtedly around Breganze, a renowned DOC production zone that inspired the creation of the Wine Road. Another important concentration of wine producers is found along the profiles of the Berici Hills and the hills overlooking Bassano del Grappa.

Cycling through the vineyards

A particularly interesting feature for visitors is the closeness of these estates to the province’s main cycling and hiking routes. Road connections include the Pedemontana route, the Treviso-Ostiglia and the R2 cycle and pedestrian route.

The link between two-wheel tourism and winery stops also develops along the Road of the Royals of England and branches one and two of the Romea Vicetia. This network allows you to combine outdoor activity with the discovery of the area’s most important wine excellences.
