The Experience: Biodiversity, Evolution and Taxidermy
An educational and recreational trail exploring nature, conservation and palaeontology:

  • Wildlife Park and Conservation: Discover hundreds of animals housed in a centre dedicated to the protection of endangered species, the rehabilitation of confiscated animals and raising environmental awareness.
  • Prehistory and Palaeontology Area: Walk amongst dinosaur reconstructions and visit the museum gallery dedicated to human evolution, featuring mammoths, sabre-toothed tigers and prehistoric creatures.
  • Giant Invertebrates Section: Explore the area featuring enlarged replicas of insects, 4-metre-long spiders and butterflies to observe every anatomical detail up close.
  • Taxidermy Museum: Admire one of Italy’s largest taxidermy collections, featuring around 5,000 specimens gathered from every continent.

Admission is by booking only, at least 24 hours in advance, for school groups and groups of at least 30 paying visitors ONLY. Pets are not permitted. Inside the park there is a natural history museum which is accessible only to park visitors.
