From swimmable streams to pre-Alpine lakes, water resources for outdoor activities
The rivers, streams and water basins of the province create an ideal map for water sports lovers. These resources blend sport and nature within highly preserved rural settings: the perfect answer for those seeking nature-based, escapist tourism away from crowded traditional destinations.
Valbrenta has historically been the area most suited to river sports. The Brenta flows through a dramatic pre-Alpine canyon between the Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau and the Monte Grappa massif. Its currents offer an excellent playground for experiencing the river directly, supported by rest areas and dedicated services.

Not Just Hiking
Moving towards the Upper Vicenza area, the Val d’Astico shows a deep connection with the water that shapes its mountain landscape. The valley is crossed by the Astico stream of the same name. In addition to hiking routes along the banks, visitors can enjoy various water-based lake activities in this area.
In the municipality of Arsiero, nature creates a small summer paradise at Contra Pria, inside PriaPark. The site preserves deep natural pools of crystal-clear water, fully suitable for swimming, carved by the stream. While retaining a wild and undeveloped character, the area offers a refreshment point and allows visitors to enjoy the water independently.
