The Malga Trail: discovering the Plateau

More than ten loop itineraries to explore the rural heart of the Seven Municipalities

The Malga Trail is a major project enhancing the Asiago Seven Municipalities Plateau through 88 public mountain dairies. The itineraries wind through woods and pastures in Asiago, Enego, Foza, Gallio, Lusiana Conco, Roana and Rotzo, showing mountain farming as a living safeguard for the land.

The routes offer open-air lessons thanks to historic and scientific sites such as the Monte Corgnon village, the Cima Ekar Observatory and the Great War forts. This variety welcomes both hikers looking
for high-altitude challenges and families seeking relaxed walks.

Circular routes to suit all tastes

More than ten loop routes encourage rural discovery, with ideal stops to taste local products directly from producers. The system is supported by modern e-bike charging points and equipment rental facilities, located near ski lifts and cross-country ski centres.

Downloadable GPS tracks make it easier to plan day hikes or multi-day excursions in full safety. To cross the pastures, wear comfortable boots, dress in layers and check the weather, always respecting livestock and fences
