Cycle 140 kilometres through the heart of the Vicenza area
The R2 Itinerary forms the provincial section of the regional cycle route connecting Padua, Vicenza and Trentino-Alto Adige. Over its 140 kilometres, it crosses the area from north to south, following the
Bacchiglione and entering natural settings such as the Vicenza river park.
The route touches important art centres and historic towns such as Vicenza, Thiene and Schio, continuing as far as Arsiero. It also passes through the evocative area of the resurgence springs, where artistic heritage meets the beauty of the foothill landscape.
A varied and customisable programme
The strength of the R2 lies in its connections: the Treviso-Ostiglia route to the south, the Leogra-Timonchio cycle path and the Pedemontana network to the north. This dense system allows you to personalise your journey, with multiple options across hills, plains and mountain scenery.
