MarSEC (Marana Space Explorer Centre) is a centre of excellence in astronomy located in Marana di Crespadoro, a national hub for education, research and science communication. Having evolved from the ‘Cieli Perduti’ association, the centre now boasts a prestigious partnership with NASA through the NASA Museum Alliance network. The centre offers a comprehensive scientific experience, ranging from pure research into variable stars (a field in which the in-house GRAV group is a European leader) to outreach activities for the general public and schools.
