Solagna

Nestled in a sun-drenched basin between Mount Cornon and the majestic Monte Grappa massif, Solagna draws its name from the Latin Vallis solanea—the Valley of the Sun. First documented in 915, the village preserves evocative medieval ruins dating back to 1370, standing like ancient sentinels at the entrance of the valley.

From the town, historic mule tracks snake up toward the high alpine pastures of Grappa, featuring the spectacular Creste di San Giorgio ridgeline trail and the panoramic Colli Alti. In the locality of San Giovanni, the Small Museum of the Great War offers a poignant step back in time, while wild nature reveals its wonders nearby, such as the striking natural rock arch over the Pertuso spring.
